So if there is a song where there is no guitar playing and little noise and I play notes I can hardly hear/can't hear my guitar and I have been able to do that before. Rocksmith 2014 has a feature with it's input volume often dropping causing the guitar to not be picked up properly if a Y splitter is used. This tool should only be utilized by people who make use of a Y splitter (RTC/amp combo). Check the volume for the Real Tone Cable. I'm running a Logitech 5. On your desktop, right click on the volume button, click on sounds, go to recording and find the realtone cable, click on properties and go onto levels and turn it up. If you use the defaults it may happen that the levels differ too much. It gets way too quiet.
